The Pneumafil Rotary Air Filter is intended for use where plant air-conditioning systems require production room air to be circulated through an air washer. This air often contains coarse lint which, though small in volume, must be removed to protect the air washer and refrigeration system, and to prevent buildup in the production areas. The filter can be enclosed in ductwork or in a wall opening, as the application requires. The rugged unit features a disk-shaped screen which rotates in a vertical plane. Lint captured on the screen is removed by a reciprocating suction arm, operating at timed intervals or on demand activated by pressure differential. Material removed is collected at a remote point for disposal. In addition to return-air applications, this filter is a superior prefilter in applications where fiber waste separation is required upstream of a fine-dust filter. Better than roll-up paper filters. Roll-up paper filters use expensive throwaway media which must be replaced manually, often resulting in high material and labor costs. Better than vee-cell filters.
