Products : Pulse Jet Series
The PJT filter utilizes two techniques to remove dust: particle deflection and media filtration. Dust laden air enters the filter through a low air inlet. The air velocity is slowed to below the dust conveying rate. The larger, heavier dust particles are deflected into the hopper (1) while finer particles pass through a diffuser and are collected on the filter bags. This separation step allows for very heavy dust loadings, eliminates the need for a primary collector, reduces abrasion on the filter bags, and lowers the energy requirement for removing remaining particles. The air then passes through the filter bags (2) which filter out the remaining fine particles. The bags are spaced to minimize re-entrainment. The now clean air flows into a clean air plenum (3) and exits through an outlet duct for recycling or venting to atmosphere. The dust captured on the filter media is discharged into the hopper by back-pulsing compressed air through the bags. The pulse pipes (4) are precisely positioned for maximum pulse efficiency. Cleaning pulses are controlled by a solid state pulse timer and state-of-the-art Goyen solenoid and diaphragm valves (5). Quick opening top access doors (6) and "no tools" pulse pipe removal make filter bag servicing quick and easy.
